According to a recent report from In-Stat, nearly 100 crore  CE devices will have Wi-Fi connectivity by 2012, growing at a CAGR of 26 per cent from 29.4 crore units in 2007.

The report forecasts that there will be more Wi-Fi-enabled mobile phones than Wi-Fi laptops by 2011. Among stationary devices, Wi-Fi-enabled digital TVs are expected to rise significantly mainly due to the projected volume of digital TV shipments in the next four years.
