After exploring the CDMA sphere, Tata Teleservices are set to step into the GSM for augmenting its revenues. The company plans to invest Rs.6,428.77 crore ($1.5 billion) on GSM services and Rs.2,142.92 crore ($500 million) on its CDMA services aiming to increase its subscriber base from 2.7 crore (27 million) to 3.5 crore (35 million) by 2009 and 10 crore (100 million) by 2011, Sardana said.
