Despite the momentum of Apple's iPhone, BlackBerry maker Research in Motion (RIM) co-chief executive Jim Balsillie commented that his company is not "sweating the iPhone". The company will soon unveil the BlackBerry Bold, which is said to match Apple's device feature for feature. Like the iPhone, BlackBerry Bold will also operate on the next-generation 3G network and have a built-in GPS. RIM is also rumoured to be developing its touch-screen device to be called BlackBerry Thunder. However, the Canadian wireless giant has not said any final statements about these plans yet.
BlackBerry bosses told the shareholders that India, Brazil and Russia were high on the priority list.
