Ram Anant has been working in the field of power management for over twenty years. He has extensive experience in both AC-DC and DC-DC switched mode power conversion, and has designed power converters for avionics, telecom and consumer applications. Ram抯 designs range from a few watts to several kilowatts using various power conversion topologies in both isolated and non isolated applications, including portable power.
Ram is an engineering manager at Texas Instruments, and is responsible for design and development of portable power management ICs. He holds an M.S.E.E. from the State University of New Jersey.
