The Conference Season is Underway In EDA

As DATE wraps up for 2008, it is a reminder that the conference season in the industry is underway. DesignCon, DVCon, now DATE, ISQED, ESC, Multicore conference and many others until we hit DAC. Often times, the papers presented at these conferences are an indicator of the direction of both Academic research and the work that is going on in the R & D labs in companies. By DAC, the trends can be quite clearly identified- what is hot and what is not; what is strategic and what is tactical;

Now a question for my readers- I have enjoyed writing these articles on this blog and have touched upon several different topics, ranging from semi fabs in India ( at last report seemed less and less likely to fructify)  to ESL and embedded software, to EDA growth forecasts etc. Are there topics you would like to hear more about? Are there top of mind issues that you would like more details on? If so, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. You can email me directly at daya.nadamuni@yahoo.com or you can post a comment on this page. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
